GRID

GRID

Remove the yellow screen filter?
Is there any mod out there that does nothing more and nothing less than simply removing the ugly yellow filter that's all over the screen?

Yes there is such a mod, but as I like the post processing as is I've never used it and don't have a link. But have courage. There are other GRID fans with that particular kink who will likely show up and help you out.

I definitely enjoy much of the games processing, but also loath the yellow on everything (mostly with light rays). I opt to just tolerate the yellow saturation by turning up the multisampling and lowering gamma obtaining a more organic look and feel. I did not know that such mods existed to eliminate the yellowish peel in the game though --interesting.

Jeez, where did everyone go?

Yeah SoundDriver. If Codies had saved the old GRID forums it would be a lot easier to find stuff like this, but . . . I guess we're not supposed to enjoy GRID for this long.

Google should turn up the unofficial mods.

Have you tried the mod on the PCGaming wiki? I think it looks much better now.

Go to your "C:\Users\{your name}\Documents\Codemasters\GRID\hardwaresettings" folder, open "hardware_settings_config.xml" with notepad, and find the "postprocess" setting. Make that line read:

<postprocess enabled="false" blur="false" />
