the softcap is 55 not 50. and its not a hardcap. but yeah going past 55 in any stat aside vit seems not worth it. but that greatsword will probaly get nerfed. its just too good for how early you get it.
Findings:
- equal distribution between MND and DEX (40+ each) is least DPS option
- 55 MND and rest into DEX (20+) is beaten in damage by all in on MND (70+)
- all in on MND (70+) is beaten in damage by 50 MND and rest into DEX (30+)
- since STR had same scaling as DEX, there was no difference whichever I level (up to the 50 cap)
Conclusions:
- multiple scaling weapons will have best damage at high levels
- to maximize damage potential when levelling using multiple scaling weapons, reach soft cap of 50 first on primary damage stat and then move to another damage stat
