Barsovs Prototype Blueprint location?

Hello. Does anyone know where can I find Barsovs Blueprint? Its is an item that lets you upgrade weapons to 9+ level. Even if you dont remember the exact place I would really appreciate even the general area so I dont have to comb the entire map. Thanks.

Junas Ministry zone, in the large hall room that you need to kill cultists to open the door.

Look high up on the ceiling, there is a hidden platform there which you can see on the map.

Whereabouts in the game do you reach this area? I just unlocked the grappling claw.

It's in the last area in the game. You're still pretty early in the game.
But there are three different Blueprints.

Really? I was looking forward to upgrading the greatsword past level 2. So should I invest in another strength weapon or is rolling with this ok until endgame? Thanks for the help.

The blueprints are as follows:
1st blueprint allows upgrades up to +4 I believe
2nd blueprint allows upgrades to +8 -- this also gives you unlimited normal weapon upgrade ores I believe
3rd blue print (the one this topic is talking about) allow upgrades to +10...

As you play the game normally you will unlock blueprints 1 and 2 (as long as you are fully exploring areas). This will get you all the way to +8 weapons...

The last blueprint will be in the last zone in the game before the final boss

Greatsword is the best Str weapon in the game, theres a axe later on but he doesnt have the same reach and the special attack is not even close to the GS special, that thing even has Iframes in it.

I found Barsov's prototype on the chandelier in Junas, have enough souls, but still cannot upgrade my sword. The game shows it like I don't have the prototype, but I 100% know I do. A glitch or are there different types of Barsov's?

Did you give it to the NPC? You need to give it first, otherwise you won't be able to upgrade it.
