Both are very good, both should be played. If you enjoy one of them, I see no reason you would not enjoy the other.
I lean towards TLF, though, mainly because the bossfights are surprisingly good and it has more weapon and build options, but B1 and 2 both have unmatched art direction and soundtrack.
but i'd still choose it over this game
this game just feels lacking a lot of things
- There's no graphics adjustment option
- The controls are unresponsive, when you're doing combo attacks you'll feel it. When you're jumping and attacking, you cannot attack an enemy then use the second jump (The celestial larva jump). But you should be able to.
- There are lots of flying enemies but no air combo (it's so frustrating to hit airborne enemies early game).
- The movements are clunky from day 1 and the devs didn't patched any of these problems even after all these updates.
The only enjoyable aspects are the weapons and some of the spells, specially dark elemental ones.
gameplay is sweet too and had no probs so far but only 2 hrs in.
Last faith has issues with basic controls. The game has massive input lag and drops inputs constantly. For example dodge roll into jump into air dash and the air dash will rarely if ever come out. The input lag is horrendous. Last Faith has better controls than Death Gambit Afterlife but still terrible.
The Last Faith level design is extremely linear almost the entire way through the game with little exploration or alternate paths to explore until you unlock a new ability. The best levels in the game is the opening city and the regent building. The rest of the levels are mediocre
The Last Faith only has a few good bosses. I don't want to post spoilers but only four maybe five are good the rest are mediocre.
The Last Faith has terrible weapon balance. There are three weapons in the game that are far better than the rest one of them is found early in the game. One of them is found mid game and the last one is found near the end of the game once most of your abilities are unlocked.
The classes are poorly balanced as well.
Blasphemous 2 is the better game.
I played B2 at 144fps, what is not 60 fps?
