Game is pretty good, but...
I've finished it a couple days ago, and it's been great. An amazing mixture of Castlevania (Eryk looks a lot like Gabriel from Lords of Shadow) and Blasphemous. I've enjoyed it a lot.

But there's some issues, most of them minor, like:

·You can get stuck in a couple places without the chance to get out unless you commit suicide. That shouldn't happen, and on top of that, is really easy to get there.

·Giving all the starting classes the same equipment makes the choice completely irrelevant. You'll probably end up better just picking the class with higher stats. Each class should have its own starting equipment.

·Why no remapping gamepad buttons? This was the thing that bothered me the most. Specially in a 2d metroidvania. Remapping gamepad buttons should be an obligatory feature.

·Speaking of buttons... the control is good, but some actions are... "overcomplicated" (like pressing 2 buttons to launch a bomb).

·Upgrading materials & upgrades is waaaaaaaaaay too expensive. And the balance and scaling could use some tweaks.

· The map has some issues. Places that seem to have some corners to explore, but are just death pits. It has no borders in lots of places which doesn't help with the exploration, and it's... "cut" in a weird way. Useful, of course, but not the best, for sure.

·No pause. Why no pause????? I understand games like Dark souls not having it, cause they have online features. But this is a 2d single player game... why the hell there is no pause? Yes, you can beat the game without it, but... whyyyyyyyyy?

And that's all I can think of right now. Overall it's been a really fun game & experience. Sure, not original, "new" or ground breaking, but I don't give a single f*ck about that. As I've said, the game is good and fun. And for me, that's more than enough.

Cheers!

They could lean a bit more into their charms. Flat stat bonuses are just meh especially given that is what leveling up stats are for. Spice it up, a charm that grants MP on a spell kill would of been a great starting charm for Stargazer.

Yes. I haven't finished it yet. I'm about 7 hours in and agree with all these points.

The no pause thing confused me as well.

And maybe I am just blind, but when leveling up, I would like there to be a button explaining what the different stats do in this game.

Using items is also pretty awkward, seeing as I need to stand still to use them and they are also only used when I push the button once they stand still. I would like it, if the button was pushed mid jump and he would use the item upon landing.
