Old tools?

I have made alot of replacement tools instead of using sharpening stones since they are cheap--and now I have stacks of old tools all over the place. Is there any way to disassemble them and get some material back? (Getting into the spirit of the game--I want to recycle everything!)

Is there a way to give away or dissemblable tools you don't use any more?
And what to do with junk grass or tiny wood you don't use ?
My garden is full of this junk i don't need...

Ah yes... I remember now.

The trash machine doesn't work for old tools, or for dry grass. It works for green grass though. I've started stashing my broken tools in broken-down cars.

I just have a pile that I drop everything I don't want in.
