Why i'm starting to hate this game
The recent implementation of INJURY is done very poorly which is making the game really suck hardcore!

First, I spend a lot of time keeping land free from weeds, mushrooms, etc., which means I use my tools constantly. The window for the tools is shoved into the very bottom of the right side of the window screen. That window is also barely visible because it blends in with the rest of the screen. There's no warning your tool is about to break unless you keep your eyes glued to the tool window. And your thoughts must constantly be on the tool window and the condition of the tool and don't get distracted or you'll end up with an injury, which has been happening to me between 2 and 10 times a day. How does an injury happen 10 times a day? Because when the injury occurs, I quit out of the game and restart it, because I don't have enough aloe vera to make a bandage! So, then I get distracted and then get another injury. I can't count the numerous times these injuries happen at the end of the day and I quit out of the game and lose an entire days work because of the dumbass injury feature which has been done very poorly.

I'm extremely frustrated with the game because of this and I'm about out of patience with it.

I kinda agree about being frustrated with the way remedies work in the game. It would be nice, if after a certain level is reached, we can grow our own herbs. I spent Days waiting to get aloe and nettles to make a bandage, then maybe 15 minutes later, if that, my tool broke again and so did my arm, and I'm having to start all over with the collecting again.

I really enjoy playing the game - it's been almost non-stop since I bought it a few days ago, but sometimes, excessive, unnecessary grinding is a game-breaker. I know it's in EA and these mechanics: injury, flu and radiation, was just recently introduced, but Devs, maybe they need some tweaking? Where's the gain and/or satisfaction if you have to keep starting from scratch with some part of the game that greatly affects game-play and seems very unforgiving?

Thanks for listening.

It was annoying at first for me too but it's really not that hard to just pay attention to your tool health and repair it before it breaks. Repair items are incredibly cheap and easy to make.

Ultimately, I wish Green Project much success and prosperity.

What this mechanic encourages you to do is maintain your tools which is incredibly easy, not a grind at all. Plus, once you get past the early game you should have a pile of aloe and nettles stashed away.

After reading some of the other threads, I figured out how to make the trees work. I now have all the thyme, aloe and nettles -and everything else -I will ever need. I do carry extra bandages, because I really get into clearing the weeds or other tasks and Totally forget to look at the damage on the tool I'm using and Crack - another break. I just apply the bandage and go on my way. Upgrading your tools is a big help too!

And if the Devs read this thread, I am really loving this game. I can't seem to stop playing it!!!! Thank You! And I hope you keep developing it. I can't wait XD

Think the latest update changed the thyme issue. Was at 99 toxicity and spent 3 days clearing grass and bugs around the elms with nothing to show. Game gets updated and now i am nearly neck deep in the stuff!

I agree. Game is a grind and very boring.

Sounds like life. Maybe the dev went for a simulation vibe.

I think it would be better if we had a warning when the tool is about to break. I also like the idea of planting your own herbs.

While you can't plant the herbs, you can still cultivate them. Keep some pine trees by your elm to eat the beetles and save your plants, and cut everything BUT what you want to grow. Each day the plants around the tree will spread a little, so you can cultivate whatever you want. Same with the maples to get your nettles. Still takes forever, but it's better than waiting for the game to decide what they're growing.

It'd be nice if maybe the box representing your hand flashed before your tool broke or something, as it's hard for me when I get going to remember to keep the tools repaired. I'm still not accustomed to the injury update, I always just ran my tools until they broke before.

The colored area behind the picture of the tool goes down and turns ?red - ?red/brown when the tool is almost worn out.

I have to agree that the injury system is very poorly implemented, and considering the game as a whole, is perhaps just unwarranted. Getting injured from a broken tool just does not seem to fit the game.

Yes, but as was stated, the little tool window is in the bottom right of the screen and sometimes difficult to notice. Perhaps the Dev would consider a feature that allows for customizing the UI.
