CANT see the cursor half the time.

We will be making the cursor a bit more visible in the next update. The update should be going live towards the end of the next week.

So I almost have 40 hours in game now, and I would love to hear all these supposed things that need fixing, because when I play there doesn't seem to be any issues at all.

One issue I have noticed is that sometimes when game modes are rotated in, I will not be able to connect to the new game mode until some time after it has been made available.

Other than that, I know of no other issues, so would you care to elaborate?

As far as I can tell, the game does get updated regularly and they just said they'll be addressing the cursor issue next update which should be by this weekend.

2) The connection issues, and on top of the topic of connection how at off peak times or during the nights it's nearly non existent (Probably brought servers that aren't 24 hour to obviously save money).
3) UI issues since last update
4) Empty crates and chests since last update
5) On 2 different occasions I've seen a Dark Crab suck things into one spot when the crab itself wasn't there and it then 'teleported' or reappeared at the spot it targeted after animation.
6) I'm pretty sure Redbeard, one of the bosses, is not suppose to be as ridiculously strong as it is compared to before the current update version the game is in now.
7) The targeting system is an absolute mess by for one example, getting priorities wrong.
8) Boost won't always activate and sometimes when it does it won't knock down the target (With the exceptions of bosses and crab specials that make the crab protected from this). This is major when using guns too, seems to happen most for me with the sub machine gun.
9) With the same exceptions in point 8), not all knockdown weapons will actually do their job. Dying no end of times because a completely open target for a knockdown to take effect simply didn't happen.
10) Chest Keys since the current update version get stuck within the map and cant be picked up, this sometimes happens for other pick ups too.
11) More on the sideline compared to these notes, the games income is pretty clear to see as to how the devs are marketing everything. Like how a good Mega Crab + is brought straight away rather than earned further down the pass which is still possible and more viable.

In terms of balancing,
It's all completely skewed towards the end crabs or the current game version of weaponry, like how I'm countering the insane power difference of Mega Rare + Crabs by using the Mittens Crab with the Dinosaur hat to deal monstrous damage or stun luck with a club.
There is no balancing what so ever.
In terms of other AI Crabs, there are some that definitely seem as though their stats are buffed beyond their maximum capability - Most likely done so that who ever has the most focus because their top 3 will not run rampage for extended periods of time and giving other players more of a chance BUT this part of the AI is not focused entirely just for the leading players on the map. They do exist around it at all times and any crab can be targeted (With smaller sizes done so by them first targeting the AI).
More on the AI, you have ones like Elbow Crabs which have extra range yet the player as an Elbow crab does not.
Movement speed at times feels way off, particularly if you are one of the faster crabs and have the red can power up which gives a big buff to boost regen allowing you to full charge boost around 3 times where a full charge makes your crab go quicker compared to any amount under full. Yet when you're in this situation, somehow a crab with slower speed stat and without this boost buff, will somehow catch up with you.

That's what I can remember for now but there's definitely more I've probably written on these forums or my review somewhere.

These things are there in the game, some easier to see than others. So to anyone just straight up refusing these sorts of things, especially so called 'pros' or 'vets' of the game. Is either ignorance or naivety :steamfacepalm:

Regular updates means that the game is still actively being updated and they're on season 3 now so that definitely qualifies as regular updates whether you're satisfied with the frequency of them or not.

I've only had connection issues with the game modes that are rotated in temporarily, never friendly or king pvp server.

I haven't had any UI issues and the crates always spawn weapons now, that was a glitch that I noticed like two weeks ago but they fixed it.

The crab teleport issue is most likely just a latency issue, I've had some latency affect my game before just one time some dude that joined was super lag man lagging the whole server.

Redbeard is supposed to be a pain in the ass he's a freaking atlantic lobster, use the torch against the bosses it absolutely demolishes them even more than the rocket launcher.

The targeting system could be slightly improved in some areas particularly the guns but other than that I don't have issues with hitting which enemy I want to hit when surrounded by multiple all piling on.

I haven't noticed boost not working, and I believe the knockdown is not 100% guaranteed as sometimes you'll just push them back, sometimes flip them, or sometimes just a hard hit, I think it depends on if you were full boosting or not when you hit.

I haven't had issues with weapons that flip crabs not flipping them, but again we have resistance against that so I believe it's percentage based like it's not 100% guarantee but 90% or something.

I have seen the chest key glitched on the map not able to be picked up, that is a legitimate issue that needs to be fixed but I haven't actually seen that happen the past week, I believe they fixed it.

I don't care that people can pay to get things earlier than if they were to grind or just play to unlock, it's a free game so you don't have to pay for anything and if you want to have the full game experience instantly then you can pay for that, I see no issue here.

Even the mechanisms they employ to try and get people to spend money like on the extra lives, I'm not going for that, that's pay whale stuff right there.

I disagree that there is zero balancing I mean that's just ridiculous, as I have been able to kill pretty much every type of crab while playing as any crab, you just need to know what you're doing in order to take people down and survive, have the right weapon and attack when the moment is right.

The crabs seem to be scaled based on your size, as in you will do far more damage and take far less damage base when you're small, but as you get larger and reach 100% it starts reducing the damage you do and increasing the damage you take, I'm pretty sure it's just a multiplier system based on your size and perhaps points.

I need to check if the elbow crab AI actually does indeed have further reach than the elbow crab that you play as.

I think the movement speed is also tied to size as in when you're full size, the other crabs that target you or are within a certain distance gain a speed boost, it's another thing that seems to change throughout the match.

I believe you do have some valid points, and that the best way to go about trying to resolve these issues is to politely bring them to the attention of the developers in a constructive manner so that they can fix those issues.

Nobody wants to help a person calling them names and disparaging them, especially not when they're providing them with a free video game to play.

1) Regular updates is not defined by just receiving any update. You're making a statement that is the equivalent to opening up an umbrella and there only being one piece of fabric between 2 of the framing poles - instead of all the rest of fabric which makes up that umbrella. For example, look at context behind the updates too and look at what sort of update, is it maintenance? is it new release? is it expanding on something?
Regular is not defined by the fact something still gets whatever.

2) You're talking about just your experience with the connection when there's multiple on the forums already. Also you can see some comments in the discord, the rule applying to this is just because you don't see it - doesn't mean it didn't happen.

3) The glitch you speak of is not fixed. Unless you're talking from 12/04/22 where I'm just about to load it up again and will see for myself if it's done or not.

4) Quite could have been a latency issue but no way of telling for definite, latency issues are also connection issues which contradicts your perspective on connection because you didn't see it.

5) Redbeard definitely seemed like the top boss, he was a pain before this dino update and season 3 when I started playing the game. He was beatable then with the right things or people, this season he is EXTREMELY buffed. There have been times where multiple crabs in friendly have tried to take him but it's either too much damage or his health just not dropping. Torch does not kill this boss and rocket launcher is not enough damage consistently plus you run the risk of launching him at you.

6) Again you're just referring back to your perspective and not seeing these things so to you they don't happen. One example of melee based targeting, any container will take higher priority over AI or other players - that's why you have to go wider around these containers with cursor placement.

7) Knock down / flipping is only done with boost when the boost is 100% that is shown by the lightning symbol on the blue stamina bar. If another player does it at the same time or has an ability that prevents it taking effect then it won't happen as it's negated by the mechanics that are actually in the game. Other times it has been failing for what ever reason that is not mechanically from the game. (Excluding flip / knock down ultimates as I'm talking about the boosting).

8) Only resistance to flip weapons are as I said before, otherwise it procs. The one that I need to get more or see more in order to get some gauge on it, is the kings golden shield as I'm not sure if that prevents it.

9) Chest Key glitch still happens, no fixing of any kind. There is a certain time in the day where it's as though the map is reset but that is still hours apart and the key will remain stuck for that length of time until it happens.

10) You're very naive when it comes to free to play models or those with purchases. You are seeing that there is no problem just because you believe people can pay if they want to get things earlier and you do not care. Good for you, does your opinion want a pedestal? The issue with this is not the ability to buy early, it's the ability to buy what's pretty much end game things that have a direct effect on the play style and game. It's a low % playable crab with stats etc, and it's a pretty damn decent crab at that just like the vampire crab which was last seasons. Putting that reward further down any sort of battle pass is no different to having it at the start, people will be able to still get it. It's just there at the start because it's more of an incentive to buy in. I can't comment on the other crabs that have been put in that same spot but I'd bet it wouldn't have been a lesser crab.

11) Nope, there is little to no balancing. You're looking at the surface still rather than getting into things with a sweeping statement like "I can kill everything". Sure, so can I, doesn't mean it's all balanced though does it. The fact stands that some things supersedes parts of the game more than others in ways that adversely affected.

12) You do not deal extra damage when you're small, what gives that impression is that in terms of scale things are just bigger and more health - not complicated. On top of that it is resemblance of a multiplier system but the maps not tailored just for you and there are parts of the AI that seem excessively strong in order to keep a level playing field perhaps. Game wouldn't be much fun for smaller crabs and especially newcomers if the player(s) who've been stomping the map for the past hour or two kept steamrolling now would it? It's a win - lose way at attempting to control the map to a degree, the win is that those dominating players have more threats and chance to be taken out - the lose is the same system isn't just for them as I outlined before by saying those crabs are present to other players regardless of their progression in the match.

13) I would keep your eyes open for elbow crabs, it's more noticeable with weapons and if you're playing elbow crab at the same time.

14) I first thought speed was a locked stat, meaning it will not change outside of the parameters it already has. Although at times I've questioned that when being KING and noticing sprinting (not full charge boost) covering less distance. Besides that, one of the slowest crabs in game should not be able to catch one of the fastest crabs on a power up - if that's some from of trying to balance speed than that's not the way to do it. It would make more sense if the slower crab also had a power up but they knew how to use their boost better and thus would catch up. But that isn't so, plus it's not that hard to gauge a players boost for example in a chase like situation. On that note as well before you mention food etc, remove it from this scenario, it's a straight chase with no interruptions from the AI.

15) Whether I had good points or not, the devs themselves would still need to communicate or demonstrate these matters. Which hasn't really been done. The better the union between player and developer than the better the way things can be done. That in it self isn't rocket science. So where one part is lacking so will another, a cause and a reaction. A developer that seems incompetent and comes across that way won't be a developer that is praised nor respected, same principle applies to pretty much anything.

The Developers team owe nothin to nobody . They free to make game how they wont . They talk with us like usual person based on positive emotion and constructive criticism .

Again - this guy Sandpitturtle is talkin weird pointless things , just couple little buggy things only been recognize by him like "Problem" . Don't listen his cheato ambitions to make game "easy do baby monkey" gameplay
i Say that game for now is perfectly balanced . I Say that i've see sometimes couple wrong buggy things - but it is mean nothin .
I play a lot of Kings Game and now finally a get feelin that became a King of Arena is not hard anymore (at edge of 150.000 score)but much more harder is keep your self as King long as possible so now finally King Game became somethin chalenging for many players .
