I think introducing cross play can greatly increase players, as as a game it lends itself greatly to multiplayer.

Thank you very much for your answer! May I ask, is the main reason for this because the performance first needs to be improved on console? I am currently playing the PS5 version and the performance fps is much lower than expected (on performance mode), cheers!

Crossplay got introduced with Update #11 a few weeks ago...so, since then...all players can play together...regardless if the are playing on console or any of the PC platforms.
