Why are the cranes so unbelievable SLOW?

Personally I think they work way too fast, compared to real-life cranes.

The tower cranes are way too fast. Any operator flinging materials around above other trades' heads would be run off the jobsite.

After upgrading them to tier 3 they are fast and in multiplayer we were racing, there are some excellent operators out there!! wow!

Cranes are slow as heck. It takes forever to extend and retract the boom. Swing is ok, lower and lift is also good.

Extending the boom on real cranes (say, a mobile crane) is VERY slow and usually can't be done under load.

and the point is? In a Real crane you can sit in the cabin doing all the work. That is not possible in the game.
This game isn't a simulator in anything but the name. There is no point in it being slow deliberately.

I think that are way to fast and with skill points maxed out on crane they are ridiculous. I reset my skill point just so I could go back to 0 skill on crane, at least there it's somewhat manageable.

Been hoping this game would turn more into a simulator, but it seems too much of an arcade for my taste I think.. In the multiplayer video on the store page it looks like you have first person view from the cabin of the crane (and several other vehicles),, isn't it possible in game?

Try to always use 2 commands for the big cranes and it seems to go abit faster. Maybe its just imagination but some machines feels like they operate faster if i use more then 1 command at a time. It wouldent make any sense really but its just a feeling i got. Also regardless if it were a real simulation game or not the cranes are not really going that slow. Its a big ass construction crane not a race car.

Sure. Just change camera mode, it works for every vehicle in the game.

You should only need to extend the boom when you start the job. Once extended, control the load distance by raising and lowering the boom.
When it comers to packing up I just hit reset. ;)

I just finished the shopping center contract and the tower crane speed is insane. This needs to be reduced by half.
