where is the saved games folder for mahjong deluxe

Is there any way to make this a stand alone game so I don't have to open Steam every time I want to play Mahjong Deluxe? I had a stand alone version I purchased from Microsoft. It worked great until a virus checker screwed something up. Decided to get version from Steam, but it wants to load Steam and my game suggestions before getting to Mahjong....
