- Octavia Milanidas for the Nobleman
- Sister Jeanne for the Priest
- Sophia for the Lotless
Octavia best character
The story ends even if she stays with you. The La-Tari know this. Accept their wisdom.
I highly suggest avoiding spoilers. She's one of the best parts in the game, and originally discovering her alternative in priest/noble routes is very interesting.
There's so much meta commentary on life, storytelling, society and one's relationship with potential gods/parents...
TLDR: you can't save her as a nobleman, and you can't join her.
There's an ascension option in the priest route, but not as a La-Tari.
-Leaves and the game states "She left a trace" which means she left the La-tari teachings behind.
-Simply leaves without leaving no trace and no more La-tari
-You can give her to Otto(if I remember correctly it was him) which then gives her to her father. She hates you on this one and you don't hear from her again.
So yeah all of them are kinda bad imo
I have to hard disagree. I say Jean is the best character as she is the only one Brante has the potential for a happily-ever-after with.
But I will say that Jeanne: Righteous is one of the most satisfying moments in the game, and I truly loved it (and the post-scene at the tree). Jeanne new faith is cool too.
In general Jeanne: Righteous is one of the best game endings overall, with the old faith being actually built to be a good thing with internal effort, and not just a tool to control the masses. Jeanne winning her internal battle felt more satisfying than winning the revolt.
Valor and Diplomacy can do nothing to help such a person. There's nothing worldly you can offer her to trade to would be worth it considering how she views the world.
