All possible romance parters
Hello, a general question here: who are all the possible characters with whom Sir Brante can start a romantic relationship? I am curios to know all the potential possibilities.

There is one potential romantic interest for each of three main lifepaths:
- Octavia Milanidas for the Nobleman
- Sister Jeanne for the Priest
- Sophia for the Lotless

Ok, in the case of Octavia: is there a way to prevent her from becoming a La-tari thing and she remaining with you? I ask since all the La-Tari thing and the "freedom" she obtains from it is what she ultimately wants while remaining with you is not. I assume if you prevent her from doing so, she will not be fond of you.

You can save Octavia as a priest. As a nobleman, no such luck. You can keep a "spiritual bond" with her, but that barely amounts to anything.

Really, the spiritual bond thing is the biggest thing a nobleman can aspire too? A pity...well, fair enough, is not like the relationship with Octavia can realistically reach a higher point; either as a submissive plaything or an equal partner, the relationship Sir Brante the Nobleman can develop with Octavia is that of lovers who get together to have fun time but nothing more. With this in mind, Octavia's route is one of the "enjoy while it lasts" vibe.

True, though I have no problem with rejecting her altogether. Her shocked reaction is priceless.

Well, I've never taken that choice before, might consider it.

Trolling her later telling everybody she's just joking and she rolls with it is hilarious too

Everything ends.
The story ends even if she stays with you. The La-Tari know this. Accept their wisdom.

I highly suggest avoiding spoilers. She's one of the best parts in the game, and originally discovering her alternative in priest/noble routes is very interesting.

There's so much meta commentary on life, storytelling, society and one's relationship with potential gods/parents...

TLDR: you can't save her as a nobleman, and you can't join her.
There's an ascension option in the priest route, but not as a La-Tari.

Thanks for the reply. I will keep it in mind.

Indeed. What I like about the noble path, you can troll three Arknians and get away with that.

Kinda annoying that Sophia and Jeanne get a happy ending but with Octavia she always leaves. 3 endings with her:
-Leaves and the game states "She left a trace" which means she left the La-tari teachings behind.
-Simply leaves without leaving no trace and no more La-tari
-You can give her to Otto(if I remember correctly it was him) which then gives her to her father. She hates you on this one and you don't hear from her again.

So yeah all of them are kinda bad imo

I have to hard disagree. I say Jean is the best character as she is the only one Brante has the potential for a happily-ever-after with.

Everybody dies and everything ends. Death is only one way to end things, even though I wish I could join Octavia in her journey, or (less) have an option to convert Octavia to markism and have us both abandon any philosophical pursuits.

But I will say that Jeanne: Righteous is one of the most satisfying moments in the game, and I truly loved it (and the post-scene at the tree). Jeanne new faith is cool too.
In general Jeanne: Righteous is one of the best game endings overall, with the old faith being actually built to be a good thing with internal effort, and not just a tool to control the masses. Jeanne winning her internal battle felt more satisfying than winning the revolt.

I disagree. I think the inability serves a strong narrative device to show how independent and strong willed she is.

Valor and Diplomacy can do nothing to help such a person. There's nothing worldly you can offer her to trade to would be worth it considering how she views the world.
