is another stat cruncher with multiple endings depending on what you choose and multiple ways to die if you don't have the right stats at the right moment, the main difference would be that it's more obviously lighthearted and the art is cuter. I actually found life of sir brante because I was looking for games like Long Live The Queen after getting all of that game's medals.

An economic/tribe management game set in the world of Glorantha. Really interesting world, lots of random events and things like that.

One of my favourite games so far this year. You run a country, deciding whether to implement reforms and not get deposed. Very difficult, but very satisfying.

Honestly, a lot of the COG games are good, but this one has a similar theme. You’re basically Anne Boleyn. It’s all text, but with a lot of branching when it comes to options.

It's an old school Fighting Fantasy gamebook but with a pretty detailed story and with the technology utilised to full advantage.
The original that lead to Black Leaf's recommended game of Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind
KoDP is based on a fantasy take on Celtic and Anglo Saxons where a horse riding people are coming. Ride Like the Wind is using that horse riding people in the same world but different time/place.
In both you are running a clan of hundreds, making choices as if a counsel was advising but you have the final choice.

Yes Vagrus have caravan management mini-game and turn-based combat but it is still book game in very interesting dark fantasy world and you have to like reading to play it.
I play lot of all type of book games this Vagrus is one of the only one where I get similar feelings than playing Brante where i try to survive in the world that wont like me. But I suggest you monitor the game it is in early access right now and check it when it fully release if you like book games.
You might also try The Executioner it makes you play the medieval torturer / executioner. If you are up to play something totally different.
