Overkill's contract with Deepsilver in which the devs are obligated to support Payday 3 for 18 months is coming to an end very soon. anyone think we'll actually get anymore DLC or big updates after that or is Jacket the end of the ride?

If it does, I think they'll shut down the game sometime in 2025 after March. Payday 3 won't see 2026.

I suppose it's hard to create a roadmap since they don't know what funding or team they'll have as Starbreeze has been laying off staff and it will depend on what amount of money they do have they want to throw at

Year 2 was budgeted a couple months ago. So it's safe to assume this year will play out in its entirety. Whether it goes beyond that is up to the suits at Starbreeze.

they stated they dont want to do a roadmap because it means they'll be tied down and instead of focusing on being able to fix core issues they'd have to worry about getting the dlc out. Id rather they do what they've been doing and fixing issues and putting out dlc when they can

I want to see who died on the payday crew like some wont return because they were hit but I hope the storyline continue but they need more money to make a cinematic trailer like PD2
