PD2 current players - 22,121
PD3 current players - 429
I mean. This game needs to be shut down, and IP sold. This way it gives a last ditch effort for SBZ board to save themselves before their new game about D&D flops just as hard. Might as well go out with some money than absolutely none, right?

PD3 just had a 60% off sale that ended a couple of weeks ago. Didnt even add to the player count. It actually went down a lot during this time. That really shows that no one cares about this game anymore.
Current players:
PD2 - 24,402
PD3 - 451
Again, the board needs to sell the PD IP to help sustain them even longer for when D&D flops. As no one is asking for that game, and they already have consecutive flops. Its not going to sell.
Especially after the way their last couple of games released in such poor shape. Everyone is going to see D&D with SBZ name on it, and just move along.
Or you just trying to cope real hard saying that an average of that small amount of players actually means something for a live service MP game. So many SP games that released well before PD3 have better numbers.
When a game releases and a month later it barely averages 2K players. That says a lot. Especially coming off an IP which sold over 40 million units. Hellooo. Thats incredibly terrible. Its not a community when players are so low, Steam hub doesnt even show the numbers, and you need a 3rd party site to tell you. Lmfao
I will also add that the new D&D game is supposed to release next year. We already 4 months into 2025. With no gameplay or even any SS of this new game. They dont even have a title for the game and its still called Project Baxter. Just shows how bad the development is.
They did same thing with PD3 because they knew it was going to be bad. Not showing any press release footage until so close to the games release. How history repeats itself.
You are 100% right. It aint that deep at all.
Does it matter. The game is no longer being actively developed anyway and SBZ already said the majority of team has already moved to Project Baxter.
They dont care about PD3, and never did. Just looking for a cash grab and thought the players wouldnt know any better. Well, they sure were wrong.
