Also no demo for PAYDAY 3 because it's an online-only game and Starbreeze would bleed money providing free service to people that likely won't buy the game. Well, they kind of do given the fact that pirates can access the servers and play the game for free.
It's a shame that this game failed, because if they just copied a lot of the parts from pd2 (the pd2 creators left to make other games, but just upgraded the graphics), 3 would have been a huge success.
Or, if Starbreeze had done a better job of convincing the creators who left, things would have been better, which is a shame.
Maybe something happened back then, no one really truly knows.
I guess in the end it is all about money, player retention & "accessibility" more than actually working on something that may require a certain level of skill to play.
