Starbreeze's stock price...
...says more than reviews ever will.
Even the people that funded Payday 3 are like "wtf is this trash !?"

It always tickles me when the vocal minority is the lovers not the haters.

As a teenager.
In the days before Youtube existed, let alone tutorials.
I do know exactly how hard it is to make a game.

Have you ever helped decompile someone else's game so you can mod it?
Because frankly that's way harder than making a game from scratch. I bring this up frequently when discussing the hacks I made for Pokemon Platinum, Heart, and Soul.
And in fact while making Perfect Platinum I did what Gamefreak could not by putting 492 Pokemon in logical and mostly lore friendly locations without extensively modifying existing environments.

And I did all of that while making the game harder in a balanced way.
And mind you while working on Platinum we did not have the tools we later had for my Perfect Heart and Perfect Soul releases, so all of my Platinum work, including the 40 hours I spent just on the Arceus event was almost entirely me staring at and reading Hexcidecimal. Even back then there was only a handful of people on the planet that could decipher a Pokemon ROMs RAW hex code.

tl;dr: I've done things most game designers would have nightmares over.

21 years ago you were a teenager but still talk and act like a child.
It's weird you care

Maybe the devs wasted 425 hours of my life because they had a terrible policy on achievements and I'm still bitter; or maybe I'm using this to kill time while I wait on other things because I'm not happy unless I'm multitasking; or maybe I just have a lot of reasons to hate this dev.

It's like these trolls come to the forums thinking no one can fact check them. First and foremost you clearly don't know anything about the stock market and how it works. Here are the facts with sources.

Starbreeze stock actually went up, not down, by 4.87%. The stock market in general is at an all time low with many stocks going down. So I wouldn't be surprised is their stock did dip as that's the current trend of the market. It wouldn't have anything to do with payday 3 launch, which has been pretty successful despite the trolls pouring out of the wood work. Welcome to the stock market. OP is full of crap.

Good to see you here, doing your thing as usual.

you act like jester awards are a counter arguement and not an admission from people they're mad but need to subtly mock in some way to save their ego and not just admit "yeah man you got me, lets discuss ways we can make this situation better"

but hey, give the dude free steam points for being right all you want.

Thats a copium overdose. Sometimes it doesnt need more than a clown award to handle a clown.

That's funny because if you look through the replies I even point out that EA, Square Enix, and even Konami are pointing up right now. Even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Konami! (probably due to MGS collection next month)
And they only went up when you compare it to exactly last year, literally everything else points down and has never been great outside of Payday 2's heyday.
And I mean hey, you could be condescending, or you can read the replies and explain why my source differs instead:

Oh also according to that Google link, even Ubi is green while Starbreeze remains red.
Care to explain any of that??

There's literally nothing to say to you because I am staring at the graph on Google that proves you wrong.
September 18th 5:30pm kr0.94
September 19th 9:30am kr0.77

The pre-release literally tanked the stock.

Okay, you just straight up told everybody you have really no idea what you are talking about.
Better take off your hands from the stock market. That was emberassing.

Remember when everyone was excited Embracer might revive dead IPs?
Pepperidge Farm remembers. (and continues to wait for Timesplitters 4)
It's very ironic considering that they are turning into the next potential EA. Remember back when they were eating up and destroying stuff like Origin and so many others?

I do, that's why I can't deny I was one of the starry eyed hopefuls.
They are the sole owner of several franchises I'd like to see at the very least remastered (Soul Reaver anyone? Legacy Of Kain?) and that's starting to look like a bad thing rather than the good thing we hoped it was.

lol you both are right in a way.. im alien to these class a and class b stocks but seeing the volume traded id say rolan's stock data are more exposed to speculative trading (publicly trading), since its trading in millions while xerox's are more of a preferred stock trading mostly in 10 thousands and not open to public or is less influenced by the mass and smaller investors but that is just what i read from investopedia lol

omfg are you serious?

I talk about real drops, not that pennies you are talking off.
Look at 04/23 and 05/23. That was even before any public testing or videos went live.
Those were significant decreases, not these peanuts you mentioned.

Thank you!
I'm not completely alien to stocks; like it's not my profession but I did ace all 6 stock market projects in my academic career, and I was very confused by the discrepancy in sources. So I too don't really get the class a and b thing, as I never had to get that deep.
I genuinely appreciate you at least attempting to explain it.

the stock is only worth pennies though.... That "pennies" was almost a 15% difference lmfao
But hey if a ~15% decrease is insignificant to you, do you boo boo :rockparty:
