Do QR Codes expire?

I am playing the Art Gallery very slowly in a stealth run, and I feel I could access the red doors before, and suddenly was unable to, I found another phone, and then I seemed to have access again. After a while I was locked out again. I am not sure whether it was always different doors or not.

QR Codes dont actually expire do they? That would be stupid af. Or are there literally like 7 QR Codes strewn about, 1 to use for the Doors of all 7 Exhibition Rooms?

There should be one QR code for every room. Just a matter of finding them all. My first solo stealth clear took me almost an hour after I created a roaming derp squadron that wouldn't stop stalking me (pro tip: don't just randomly hack guard pagers lmao) and never lost access to any room I unlocked.

I think it was in one of those boxes that appears on the side while Shade is talking over them so you have to either absorb two different sentences at once or read it really fast when she's done talking.
