How the ♥♥♥♥ do favors work?

I thought for a while they got rid of the Favor system with like additional access points etc. , which I wouldve been very sad about. but then i saw I could select the favor that I have an additional secure point in Rock the Cradle.

This was immensely helpful bc I didnt have to haul the bags outside while doing my full stealth solo playthrough. Now I want to play it again and the favor is gone.

What favours are there. How do you get them? Why did it disappear?

I have to say Payday 3 definitely needs to improve their UI and explain certain mechanics better.

Bumping with same question. Favors just seem to randomly appear and there's no explanation to it at all. What's up with them?

Yeah don't understand, it's like I bought a skill and it just vanished into thin air. Is there meant to be extra information about certain heist modifiers or something? Or difficulty changes? Like less / restricted favours? What makes them appear and disappear so randomly?

I really think they should improve their UI, the Lobby before the Heist is just clunky and poor.
In Payday 2 it was pretty clear what everything does, and where it would spawn.

Like I could choose the additional secure point, but 1. didnt even know what that means and 2. didnt know where until I saw it halfway through the mission.
