Good riddance, all of them were arcady nonsense that made the game play like a cop shooting simulator rather than a heist game.
The insane sh*t you could make and such is what made PD2 so damn enjoyable, where each point spent would make or break your build, or others where they would instead enhance the hell out of it.
Like Stoic, if you combined that with the hostage and cop conversion you would become damn near unkillable, and it was fun as hell! Sacrifice all of your armor for more health.
It was silly, it was dumb, and they knew damn well that it was, otherwise they wouldn't have added so many silly things that people absolutely loved, like the Comically Large Spoon, and the Golden Comically Large Spoon that had a Fire effect, just silly, goofy, fun sh*t, it was great!
In PD3 however...it's like early Darktide, it didn't matter for sh*t and was a take it or leave it kinda deal and the weapons are more what you'd find in Counter Strike...Early Counter Strike.
I just pray that they get their sh*t together and don't do what Robot Entertainment did with Orcs Must Die 3, by ignoring what OMD: Unchained offered and instead of copy pasting the best ideas over, they leave it to rot.
That's the thing about it, your argument is flat because YOU don't enjoy the arcade vibe so therefore it doesn't belong? i bet you still played payday 2 and just didn't run the things you considered "Arcade-y". Why is it so much to except that PD3 offer some options for players that liked that style?
+1
It's gone, if you don't like it you can always return to PD2.
