performance?

i'm sure many are waiting to buy for this reason. please post what kind of frames you're getting and setup, if you'd be so kind :)

7700x/4090 playing at 1440p ultra settings. Framerate is anywhere from 130-160 FPS (frame cap), but any area with a lot of NPCs hammers a single CPU thread and craters performance down to 75-100.

On my i5 12700k cpu, RTX4070 gpu and 48 gb of DDR4-4000 RAM I randomly drop by 20-40 fps when walking fast through most heists, worse when I walk through Club Surphaze.

I lock FPS to 120 but get closer to 80-90 average.
I use medium settings for everything but view distance which is ultra. (I've tried lowering it and it didn't help)

Ryzen 5 2600 and RTX 2060 here, most of my settings are on high, foliage on low (I don't need to see super detailed bushes lol). I get about 60 seconds of stuttering first but after that it basically runs just fine at 60+ fps.

Not sure whats up with your stuff, I'm running on dx11 if that helps.

Rtx 3070 / Ryzen 5600x / 16gb - I get a constant 60fps running everything on ultra except Shadows on high. So far no maps have given me framedrops at all, even during action. I did notice my first couple of games had some awful performance, but I read from several people here that is most likely the game compiling shaders or something when you first start playing.

Since then, performance has been great.

On 1080p ultra fps is all over the place never consistent!
So its hard to say an average
But for example on no rest for the wicked I get an 80-100fps
With fair amount of stutters which make the game near unplayable.
The 99% fps drops to as low as 20fps
And my gpu usage is about 30-35%
While my cpu is 10%

I turn the settings down to low and I get
Drum roll...
10-15 more fps
The same stutters and fps drops.
Less usage on my gpu about 20-30%

All the other hiests perform differently
But I can say none of them peform worse than no rest for the wicked
Most im able to play at 120fps with the occasional drop to 100fps
1080p ultra
And low
Graphics don't give a boost in performance neither in visual quality.

This is dx11 btw
Dx12 isn't supported
But you can turn it on via steam properties
Gives a huge boost in performance I can play 144fps + consistently
But since its not properly supported its kind of unstable
Huge amounts of stutters at every beginning of a hiest
Crashes
Yeah...
