As another example, this graph here is a perfect example of how Killing Floor 2, UE 3 game managed to get bloated to over 90 GBs from around 30 over the years. Skins and cosmetics take at least 40% of total game size.

I wasn't taking about storage being cheap to begin with, neither was OP. Storage affordability is not what OP was asking either. That's good for you that you are able to afford it, buddy. Not everyone in "second and third world" can though. Gee, you're quite comfortable on that high horse of yours are you?
im having problems with my ready button greyed out for 2-3 minutes every single time in lobby. So i did some research and found out that in payday 3 they preload the maps in lobby. And after the load is finish then the ready button can be pressed. Thats why i think its because i downloaded it to hdd and not an SSD my map load slower.
