Howdy heisters, we've got a fun little commmunity game for you all as a lead-up to the Fear & Greed heist!

How about some... insider trading?

The New York Financial Exchange is open, and we're letting you run the gambit of stock exchange. (for fun, not real money)

But seriously JUST TO BE VERY CLEAR:

It is not real money.
This is not real stock investment.
You cannot earn or lose real money here.
This is all a fun community event.
Please be responsible with your real money.
Everything you invest in or not on this website is fake.

How does it work?

Simply head on over to the event page[t.paydaythegame.com] and log in with Nebula.

Everybody will start with $10,000 which they can use to invest in familiar PAYDAY universe companies such as GenSec or Scry Digital, all of them with fluctuating costs and value like a real stock market.

The more financially fiscal, stock-savvy, the top-ten-traders will be awarded with some in-game currency when the event ends.

The best of the best, the sultan of stocks, king of capital, the exemplary of exchange will get something extra special: a custom made, limited edition Fear & Greed themed Wolf poster!

Scratch that! Due to the sheer volume of you getting involved, we're extending the prize pool! The TOP 100 traders will get some tasty C-Stacks!

The TOP 10 will get a signed poster!

There may or may not be something else that happens during the event, who knows... We're still thinking on that.

The event starts... well, now! It lasts for about two weeks, and you can participate anytime, or not at all! Invest in one stock, or spread your money out, it's all up to you. Keep an eye out though, there might be some tips or clues...

What's the point of this event, exactly? Only eleven people out of ENTIRE playerbase will be rewarded, why bother? I mean seriously, who thought this was a great idea that will make community interested in it till the end? Despite being a failure, people at least got something from Mask Mania.

Ahh, finally, an event that is outside of the game, preventing me to play the game I paid for to participate in it just like with twitch drops.

Devs could have at least made Heists played over time have an impact in the stocks like in Cruelty Squad...

I know it's thematic for the upcoming dlc, but the words "fun" and "stock market" do not go together
I get about as much enjoyment out of this event as I do filing my taxes, and I know creativity is low for these events, but please do not use filing taxes as the basis for the next exciting payday 3 event, I am begging you
