Some of which are:
1. Bots not prioritizing certain enemies like naders and clockers and go shoot the week ones.
2. Bots running away from you when you really want to get a bag they are carrying.
3. Bots taking a much longer route to get to you even tho there is a faster route.
4. The call mechanic does not work, idk if it ever worked or is ment to work but if you shout at the bots, your character will verbally call them but doesn't do anything.
So instead of ~7 years until they become properly useful it'll maybe be one or two more years, possibly with features integrated that were only introduced with mods in PD2 (specifically looking at you mod that lets the bots haul loot).
Generally speaking: The whole game is in a limbo between "It's a way better release (and year 1) quality than PD2" and "Damn I wish they'd have cooked longer", not only bot wise.
If the game is still active for that long.
Personally, I think they already canned the offline mode and Bots improvements with it.
