Is the game in a playable state yet?

It's been over a year now since the game came out.

Have they managed to figure out such complex and advanced things local save files or do you still need their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ nebula account?

And have they given players the ability to host their own lobbies and games and not go through their servers which have the ability to cause people to randomly be unable to play?

There's not an offline mode yet but you can launch a solo game if you want to play alone. I don't have that many problems when I am playing online or solo even with my potato connection.

Nebula account does not make any problems on my side neither. I recall I had to create one at the beginning but it didn't bother me since the game release.

So it's working. I am playing it for a few weeks now and we have fun with my friends and with randoms.

No, the saves are not local, they are still managed by the Nebula service.

No, the game is still played through dedicated servers. Solo Mode exists and hosts a game on your machine, but you still need to log into Nebula, because the game needs to fetch your savefile from it, since it's not local. It's an online offline mode. Go figure.

And I do still get issues when trying to play in lobbies with friends. We have to constantly leave and recreate the lobbies, or else we get MATCHMAKING ERROR. Sometimes we even get NETWORK ERROR or UNKNOWN ERROR. Now that's fun for the whole damn family.

It happens less often with less players. The moment the playercount breaks 2000 you can go back to playing other, better games.

Also the heists have not been improved, the enemies are still incapable, the music is, the in-game HUD has not been improved, there's VOIP without a push-to-talk, so it's always ON or OFF.

And basically every other issue you could've had 5 months ago are still in the game.

No, it's boring after you have done the heists a few times. The weapons are lacking, so are the attachments too. There's barely any customisation when it comes to clothes and masks are lacking too.
