Heist quantity
I know PD2 has been out a long time and therefor had a lot of heists added over the years but how many did it get released with? It feels like content is lacking in PD3 but maybe the number of heists is similar to PD2 when it first got released? Just seems to get boring quickly

EDIT: PD2 was released with 12 heists

The content IS lacking in pd3, because not only we are getting maps at a slower pace...but many of them are paid now unlike pd2 where we actually had a decent number of free ones.

They took the model from the later days of PD2 and employed it much earlier on PD3 it seems.

Not taking into account days, it mostly depends on how variants are calculated. (Jewelry Store/Ukrainian Job and the 4 Bank Heists).
If all variants are counted as one should be 10 heists. Counting all variants it's 14 heists.
(Variants are same map and buildings but with different loot inside)

On Payday 2, post-release heists were around 50% free and around 50% paid. Which is what is happening for Payday 3 at the moment.

There's also the escape days on the launch heists and armored transport DLC heists if those count

I see what you mean, Ukrainian Job/Jewellery shop and the Bank Gold/Cash/Random etc. The mechanics of the Ukrainian/Jewellery shop are different but the banks were not.

Yeh still had to pay for the Armour DLC though so not technically base game unless i'm mistaken. Still enjoy those Armour heists every so often.

I've also just realised the voice acting is pretty much non-existent in PD3, perhaps that doesn't help with the immersion.

Yeah, was based on the initial OP post count of heists. Did not get into details such as Escapes in Payday 2 or Tutorials in Payday 3.

Armored transport DLC heists released 3 months after launch, on November.

Even if there would be paydillion heists from the start, it would not solve the problem with lack of replayability. (not to mention, that you can roughly strip all the heist to - go there, press thing, wait X minutes, go here, press thing, wait X minutes.) Game lacks replayability and "motivation" to get back and continue playing.

I'm feeling this too, lack of motivation to progress. Doesn't feel like you're getting rewarded for lvl'ing up.;

There's no incentive, im level 150 (90) and money does nothing for me anymore, and leveling up is the same...couldn't care less about mask patterns and charms, not even a single mask as a reward.
The thing with the Heists in PD3 is its not about Quantity, it's about Quality. PD2 used a lot of padding to fill out what it had day 1 and as someone stated earlier, the fact that they use 1 bank for what 5 or 6 different variants of it really doesn't count as "separate" heists. Both games have AMAZING

The amount of content is not the problem; it is the lack of replayability of that content.
