Payday 3 steam chart is concerning

Compared to Payday 2 steam chart, it has a 41k 24-hour peak with over 30k people playing an ago. But looking at Payday 3, its 24 hour peak is only 518 with only 175 recent players. Is this game at least worth it on sale? I was thinking of buying it but the reviews and player count is at a all time low. Is this game really that bad? If so, did you guys stopped playing?

Uninstalled last week.
There's no one to play with, and even if there is, often the servers crap out or the game just crashes.
This game is an unmitigated disaster.

its funny that borderlands 1, a game that came out in 2009, is getting similar amount of players as pd3 currently on steam. im still blown by how badly they handled this game

Payday 2 is still going strong for an almost 11 year old game. Payday 3 is on life support and the game only came out in Sept.

Numbers matter because it reinforces all the warnings given months ago and proves the critics right. If only the devs and the shills had listened. Now we see the numbers which don't lie heading down and down. This also helps us predict the future as we know that a game with such poor numbers will not be supported for long. At this decline does anyone imagine it will still be supported years later like PD2 was?

That is the peak of the day.
And the number from one day later is just an extra info.

The general peak is much higher.
