Patch the xp glitch

There is an xp glitch to instantly level any weapon or skill tree to max

mongs doing bathroom strat and muppets doing xp glitches just reminds me why this ♥♥♥♥ game needs offline mode

You have so much edge it's as if you spent an entire 1 hour heist grind just standing perfectly still while ADS.

The point is you cant control the lobby the way you could in payday2.

In road rage for example, the cops cant even go to the exit zone, you can just prevent others from finishing the heist if you so choose to.

And there's nothing they can do about it

cloakers can, but they're trivially weak if you have a reasonable reaction time.

Bug abusing/exploiting glitches is commonly frowned upon and also seems to be often if not always explicitly mentioned as a no-go in the ToS of games. You abuse these at your own risk. Just because you consider the progression system as broken and just because OVK/Starbreeze/Deep Silver may not throw the banhammer around doesn't mean that you are in the right here. Please don't come crying when one day they should actually ban you for doing this.

easy fix when loading in ask if they plan on doing the glitch, also most people do it on normal difficulty so try doing it on hard or higher

I‘m not using any bug I was just defending the whole reasoning I see the point.

I for myself just play dirty ice over and over on stealth and just do the bare minimum to level my guns after a few times one gun is full and then I do the next one - it‘s no bug, it‘s a rightfull way to play the game and level the guns by their own rules and quite frankly it sucks alot and takes forever… there is no fun involved just pure grind…

And tbh I don‘t think they‘ll ban over half of the community for doing the bug… would be hella dumb.

As said, most people don't truly care if you do it on your own time thus only affecting your weapon xp progression.
But, if they themselves don't want cheated/exploited weapon exp, they shouldn't be receiving it just because some selfish ♥♥♥♥ decides to do it in a public lobby instead of on their own time in private and/or with consenting friends/randoms.

As also said, it's the same principal as being that one person who holds up to 3 other players from escaping because he/she wants to farm kills.

A bit of etiquette goes a long way. Glitching your own exp is one thing, glitching the exp of others without consent is selfish and inconsiderate.

"They paid for the game, they can play it as they want"
So did the people who actively do not want glitched exp. Paying to play your way != paying to force your way on others.

You know that post only existed as a joke to point out the obvious downside of the lack of lobby control and having an actual host, right?

Man, all those people who were so elated in there being no host kick quickly realized that "Oh no! I can't get rid of griefers and cheaters!"

And those saying "Just switch lobbies bro" quickyl realize it generally takes an eternity to matchmake because that was such a marvelous idea to beign with.

EDIT: Better yet, how about havin gthe ability to tag a lobby whether you go loud or silent so you cond't have this stealth vs loud stigma that's going on so we wouldn't have this trouble. You know, the feature that literally existed in th eprevious game. Seriously, this mess of a game lacks the most basic functions. What is wrong with them?

dont do coop then on that map, if others want to use glitch and u cant stop them then solo, well the one abusing also in the wrong if they do it in public with others that dont want do it.

but fixing the glitch? there other urgent matters more important than fix glitch on pve game that not break the game like unready button/voice chat, there is other map u can play first why stay at the same map?

This assumes, that every single other player out there measures their level of fun using the exact same metrics you do for yourself.

Especially builder games can be enjoyed easily even when freed from the shackles of "chalanges" easily.
They then become more or less the equivalent of how model_builders enjoy their models.

Not taking side specifically on PD3 here (where I think as soon as you inflict others without their consent, you are doing harm).

But stating that every time you play a game not as intended by the devs you make yourself a victim is very narrow minded.

I couldn't care less about people exploiting a glitch in a game, my only gripe is those who do it in public lobbies holding the heist hostage.

This would be solved if there was a kick system.. Which yet again, was present in PD2, but not here.
