No, they send out Invitations via e-mail as far as i understood from the Stream today. The Code is just a varification
I don't have the collector's edition, but I would wager they would have your email address from you creating a nebula account d:
Nah, pretty sure people who purchased the collector's club are in the collector's club. They were then forced to link their email account with nebula.
So, since I'm assuming they give you a steam code or something when you purchase the collector's edition, and you used your steam account to redeem that code, then you used your steam profile to create an account with Nebula, and Nebula required an email address to create an account, then they have your email address.
Again, I don't have the collector's edition, but I do cybersec d:
Quite correct, assumptions. As I mentioned in both my posts, and now this post, I didn't buy the collector's edition. Typically, in the modern era, they give you a code so that you can play the game the day it releases, not force you to wait until you get some physical package. Hence my assumptions.
My fault for not realizing they handled a collector's edition in an archaic manner then? It doesn't make sense to me that you can't play the game for over a week since it came out because you bought a 'physical' edition for pc. Which is why I assumed they give you a steam code to play because we are talking on *steam's* forums.
Not sure what you're on about tbh
.... so? That could be a code for in-game rewards, not to literally play the game. No modern game handles it that way.
Um.... most games that have a collector's release designed for steam. I would have said all PC games, since PC games don't use disc. But apparently some games have the....... product codes in... physical mail..? Idk, I still don't believe that is the case lmao, but again, I didn't buy that edition.
Literally no games work the way you're describing, as evidenced by you not even being able to name one.
I've heard the opinion that this product doesnt have a basic votekick function because devs are scared that le collectors and le mircotransaction shop users would be kicked on cooldown.
Probably not true but theory is indeed interesting
why no collectors version on steam?? or away to get the masks and other stuff though .. or is that the patch on the 5th ?? XD why doesn't the gold version have everything except the physical stuff ??? not everyone wants a cheap ass plastic mask .... Also that dose seem like something they might do ... knowing how much people are sick of crap like this..
