Either way this game isn't really demanding hardware-wise as long as you have a semi-modern build. I think it also has upscaling options so worse case scenario you can use those if you find issues with your performance. Keep in mind your first match or two ingame might have awful performance as game compiles shaders or whatever.
At 1080p they wouldn't have any issues at all.

I had that as well in the beta, but it's fixed in the main release when I enabled -dx12 in the settings.
