collector's mask

I really want the collector edition but I've given up hope of getting the PC version (stock issues)
question for anyone who has the collector's mask (the gold one), if I got the PS5 version, logged in with the same account on there, redeemed the mask, it would show up in my inventory on PC too right? Because cross-progression? If that's the case I'll probably just buy the PS5 version and then sell the game itself on ebay or something to get it on steam instead.

Oh I just found out that existed. I would have bought that edition if it existed on Steam seeing as I have plenty of money and I would like to make the poverty stricken Gamepass players jealous.

it's pretty much impossible to get the PC version, it's sold out everywhere, guess they didn't make near enough of them. Which is why I was looking into getting the PS5 one just to have a collector's thing, since that one is slightly more available...

As far as I am aware, there is cross-progression and cross-platform playing, but edition rewards do not carry over.

I do own the collectors edition on xbox and can say it has carried over the my steam account.

That seems odd, your inventory definitely does, because I've logged into both steam and game pass versions and it's the same mask inventory. I'm not sure how that would work especially since you can't move things around, the mask just takes up a space on PS5 but you log in on PC and its just, not there? I wonder what would happen if I bought a mask in that slot on PC, would it just vanish on ps5... Seems completely flawed if you ask me.

That's good to hear. I'm gonna buy it anyway (found a site that still has the PS5 one in stock for normal price) so I guess I'll see for myself how it works.

Just because they have gamepass and dont want to buy the game doesnt mean theyre broke. gamepass is good value. This game. Is not.

Jealous? I laugh at people that paid for MTX since it's something only dumb people do. Ya im going to be jealous you spent more money in a game haha.

I bought payday 3 on steam silver edition and everything in your inventory carries over the only thing that wouldn't carry over are season passes that it but rn you can't even redeem the pass or mask on ps5 because a glitch till Oct 5 I believe but everything that is in your inventory crosses over on whatever account you have
