I "destroyed" the Car-4 variant you obtain by playing PD2... no way to get it back?

nope. you're ♥♥♥♥ out of luck if you destroy the "o'l reliable" car-4 preset if you destroy it

because.. like... of course it had to be made that way..

I even made a post about this in the suggestions form about adding the ability to buy the preset because I was sure someone somewhere will eventually destroy the weapon on accident

I only destroyed it because I wanted to move where it was in my inventory (yet another thing you could do in PD2 that you cant do in 3)

you can re-obtain it using Fiddler, along with any other unobtainable items

To the best of my knowledge any of those reward items will attempt to re-add themselves to your inventory when you have space for them the next time you restart your game client. If you currently have no extra primary weapon slots, buy one, restart the game, and it should automatically be re-added in the new slot. At least that's what I've heard from others who did much the same.

That would make sense, but sadly i've restarted the game multiple times and received nothing.

Ah, that's unfortunate. Hopefully it's something among the bugfixes for the first major patch then. I'd been hearing you got it back automatically, but I suppose not, unless there's some kind of delay on it coming back.
