i think c-stacks are the best addition to the game

over time theres gonna be a lot more weapons, mods, mask etc. obtainable with c-stacks only. and until that time comes, youre gonna have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of money accumulated and without the stacks nothing to spend it on.
i think its pretty smart to use that system as a money sink because anyone who played alot of payday 2 knows that the billions of cash you have wont matter at some point.

BUT if its going to be purchasable with real money (and it damn sure looks like it), then all that will be completely pointless and the devs can go ♥♥♥♥ themselves, greedy vultures.

They will add it. They mentioned it multiple times on their website and discord server and from what I heard a few times while streaming aka doing voice overs for pre-recorded gameplay.

While I won't be impressed, if they keep it to cosmetics only I don't care as much. Even then, it would need to be for like <5% of cosmetics, most need to be earned in game. Paying to unlock stuff removes the challenge.

yep. and it also negates their vision of "progression" by taking away the actual earning of the cosmetics by making it instantly obtainable.
and they cant come with the argument "its only cosmetics" because the cosmetics are the sole purpose you do heists and earn money for

c-stacks are pointles, its just money 2 ( but with the added need to buy them) whatever you can spend C-s at the moment, you could just spend regular dosh, i cant see the point of having a second currency that you get by spending the regular common currency
