yes, noticeable.
question is how obvious you want to do that.
that´s how it works when the xp incentive is to ignore the objectives.
well if 40-80 is new ... its got nothing to do with how i want them to play, its how the game tells them to play. i can put up with the small minority of ass hats you always meet, its the whole extra portion that are just doing the normal flow down the path of least resistance thing only doing it because of a poorly implemented reward scheme.
And yet, the best xp/hour is to sit in the corner of the bathroom of a certain map and farm kills. (I wont' say the method here, but I'm pretty sure most people know of it already)
The game tells them to win, you get challenges for winning. They're going out of their way to go against what the game tells them to and just slowly kill enemies instead of kill enemies quicker (they have better spawn rates at other times) while also progressing other challenges. They are literally choosing to go through the path of most resistance by exclusively focusing on one challenge at a time instead of doing a bunch simultaneously.
I've only seen people holding up a game once, because the game doesn't encourage you to. It encourages you to win. Those people aren't grinding challenges, they're griefing.
Didn't have or don't have this issue really. The "Human shield." infamy task is silly easy and practical to do on the road rage mission more than any other. Why? Because I did it yesterday on very hard and if my teammates stayed near to the truck, the cops wouldn't fire at the truck if I walked in the back. Adversely. Blocking the entryway to the vault of the truck is also really handy with a human shield haha. Doing it anywhere else though is almost a mistake.
Thats a bad excuse, you can easily just add a diminishing returns system to the game
