AK-47 Has a Buffer Tube....

Why does the AK have a buffer tube attachment in this this game? Clearly the Devs copied and pasted the weapon attachments, which shows how much effort was actually put into this game.

because AK can equip a buffer tube. just requires an adapter.

As an AK owner, AK's have their recoil spring in the receiver not in an external component like a buffer tube. If they want a "Close Quarters" or "Pistol" variant just make the AK have nothing. It's really pretty simple and doesn't take away some of the immersion.

for those unaware, AR platform rifle stocks have a tube with a spring in it, called a buffer tube. this is part of how the rifle is designed and also means you cannot take the stock completely off, unlike most other guns where its just wood/polymer to help shoot the rifle. AK style rifles (and most of the other guns you can put a buffer tube on in this game) don't have and buffer tube style system, it's just wood. the "ak buffer tubes" in the link above aren't really buffer tubes as the AK can't use it, they are for putting various AR stocks that slide onto a buffer tube on an AK. While you COULD put a buffer tube adapter on and then not put a stock onto it, you would be a total moron because you could just take the stock off. It pretty clear they just kinda copied a lot of stuff from Modern Warfare, not realizing that only certain guns have a practical use for a buffer tube.

the worst part is that the stock on my ak model isn't even attached to the gun why don't they have a stockless variant?

oh no, like any other shooter that has a sequel payday 3 also took an attachment from its previous game to their next. Bruh most games do it like that. its attachments, what the actual fk do you think? You think they are gonna be like yo guys time to come up with new attachments that probably dont even exist just so we can satisfy people like Grizzly guy here.
