why is it so difficult for people to launch a working product anymore?
seriously.

ever since the ability to update a game post launch was a thing, ♥♥♥♥♥ just been happening again and again. launching a buggy, broken mess.

wtf happened to quality control?

i just wanna play a game and have some escape from this hellscape we call reality.

why is it so hard to just make something and have it work out of the gate?

its been like two, three days since release and the matchmaking issue is still a thing apparently.

idk.

im tired, boss.

PAYDAY 3 run currently on AccelByte.io server

As we can see since launch, AccelByte.io is not able to handle as much player

PAYDAY 3 technical team just ignore the issue and pray for AccelByte.io fix the issue by itself instead of investing on their own infrastructure

Because anything larger than an indie dev doesn't give a ♥♥♥♥ as long as they know people will buy it anyway.

Because gamers started paying developers to be their beta testers by pre-ordering digital games, so much so in fact, that it has become normalized. To add insult to injury, they even defend paying for broken products and being the Guinea pigs to test the functionality of said product.

People are almost soulless, devoid of any self worth, they've been conditioned & demoralized beyond comprehension. The state of gaming is just one of the many casualties of this endless psy-op propaganda that's been flooding media and culture for decades.

It's IRL Stockholm syndrome.

I'm pretty sure this isn't about quality control. It's about being a stingy and not willing to invest on infrastructure to ensure a good game experience.

And here I thought they would use a larger cloud provider like AWS or Azure. It's worse than I thought then.

They can barely afford to pay off their loans, it's not a shocker to hear they're going for a cheaper option most people haven't heard about.

Generally you're right but there's a strict no politics rule for steam forums

i mean it does fix itself

at like 12 am when everyones either given up and/or gone to bed so the servers arent imploding anymore.

then everyone wakes up and we have the same issue again
