Why not just turn on slowmode instead of locking the community out of the community discord server, sort of defeats the purpose of a discord

I think it's justified at least PD3 has stans no one was there for Waitfinder, of course when you finally did get into game you could actually just play for hours. They burned a lot of goodwill making this game online only, it was a risk they were willing to take and it doesn't take a genius to recognize that if the servers became an issue it was going to turn into a house fire.

i can't join a server rn

I agree, i'd like to browse the discord, get a crew together maybe... subscribe to a channel about updates on server status... why would they lock it? ban the flamers and trolls but why prevent polite players from joining discord when there's nothing else to dooo

Yeah, I've played some heists solo and I see actual improvements to the bot AI, so if the bots (w/default weapons) are useful now, why isn't there an offline mode

you could argue piracy but at the same time "anti piracy measures harm paying consumers more than pirates" should be common knowledge at this point, but i guess that's also the case here
