I think it got super easy but fun
U can do the whole heist without masking up. And if u decide to mask up, take care of the Blue Keycard first to deactivate cams. With the ability to carry anyone anytime, u can kill the guy on the roof first, since he may be able to see through the glass when u decide to take hostages in the first floor computer room.
Then kill the one downstairs, so i can unlock the door and steal the loot.
I think without masking up it is much easier, though I think espescially the stealth perks make it so easy.
Hacking is quite important and with the perk to hack guard radios, u can often get out of situatuons where u've been seen by hacking their radio when they are running towards u
If you remember the layout and patrols and routes that are free, a few restarts and you can fly by. but Perks helps LOADS, looping a camera, have civs ignore you, fast picking, having RUSH so cams ignore you and guards, later on you get a sensor to detect and highlight guards,
just try it on lower level first and maybe get a few levels into the 20s and it becomes way easier, I did watch a few youtube videos too. Sometimes the numbers to safes is hard but on No rest for wicked I looped the camera outside the safe, and just tried the numbers one by one until it opened. i think there is 24 possible combinations. i just use paper and write them down base on what the finger prints are on the pad.
Let me give you a rundown of what to do:
-Enter Bank
-Open Teller door and flip switch.
-Go to the right side open the doors and grab the red keycard from guard whenever you can.
-go up the stairs and pickpocket blue keycard
-careful with the blue keycards guard roaming range, and go to the electric room.
ONLY THEN, you can go to security room, take out the guard so cameras die, and take out the guard on the upper floor, and make everyone a hostage.
Take the guard downstairs and hostage everyone.
from there it should be pretty easy, and you should ahve one more alarm to take out the guard taht is in the path to the van.
They did the mission, got the code, failed mission, restarted the mission, walked up after unlocking the way to the vault, used the code, no mask run. It shouldn't be possible and will likely be fixed in the future, so utilize it now if you want.
But regarding map1 then i found out that a good way to start is to crawl though a window into the office where the manager is since you need him later on
to unlock the vault.
After doing that, i recommend to get a keycard for the camera room and take that out, it really make everything more easy and less risk of detection.
After that i capture the civilians on an entire level.
Notise on the map that there are some wires from the vault area that goes to two power boxes somewhere.
I have stealthed the mission several times but it take some time to figure out the trick to doing so since there are many civilians and it make it hard to take down cops without
someone seeing it.
( i never did anything in the main entrence lobby its possible to solve the mission without going there. )
In general i think its more easy to stealth in pd3.. Reason are you dont need any special skills its equal for everyone.. But unlocking the camera hack function and loop cameras are great. Also i find the warning system more forgiving.
Also i like that we can see what ID card a gurad carry and we can steal it without having to kill him. Just move behind im and take it and run away.
This is very handy in the start to take out the camera room as fast as possible.
In general i took me a few missions in the first map to learn it and become good so practice and knowing how the map function is key.
ps.. i do find the exit a bit hard since there are civ and gurads on the parking lot and noot much to hide behind.. so you need to think about the escape and not only the heist as well so you can take down a guard and civilians to exit before the alarm is raised
U don't have to restart. It is maximal 36 possible codes with 3 numbers given and 24 with 4 numbers
And secondly, in the Livestream for the Early Access release, they stated: "If you have the skills to perform a no Mask Heist, we wont stop you and you well deserve the success"
The only thing they might (and hopefully fix) is the reason, that the RNG only works when leaving the mission and not when fast restart.
But as I said, a restart is not needed to do that
