Opinions on the new soundtrack?

I personally don't like it, I'm not saying It's bad but I just don't think it fits the game

In the Nightclub especially there's a song that sounds like it was taken directly from cyberpunk, to be fair It's a banger but I just don't think it fits the PAYDAY Franchise that much

Also the main menu theme got a massive downgrade in my opinion, payday's main menu theme was way more relaxed and actually fit the game, the new one just sounds generic

the rest of the ost just dont hit hard like gustavo songs in payday 2 or the simon viklund songs

Heists ost so generic and didnt catch at all. In the end main menu track made me to turn music off, litteraly gave me a headache... Those screeching guitars ahh...

none of them jumped out at me as being especially amazing, but i don't hate any of them either. pdth and pd2 didnt have wall to wall bangers either but both had tracks that i immediately loved on first hearing them, and pd3 doesn't really have that for me. NR4TW's track pretty good i guess if you put a gun to my head and forced me to pick one

Only no rest for the wicked stood out for me so far. I thought the main menu theme was great at first but it made me miss payday 2’s. Payday 3 music didn’t captivate me as much as Payday 2 had in the beta and release day.

nothing can top what lord simon viklund has composed for PD2,they should've looked for a different composer than the filler guy they got after viklund stopped making music for PD2

It's Goustavo Coutinho , not trying to devalue Viklund's work but Gustavo's musics were way better in Payday 2...just listen to the Tijuana music pack in PD2 (made by Gustavo , the same "filler" guy in PD3) Dirt and Dust alone is better than all Viklund's musics in PD2 , especially his first ones in the game , except for Razormind , first 10-15 musics of him were so boring and bad

Nothing can top what Simon Viklund gave us in payday 2. All the songs are meh or forgettable in PD3.

at the beginning of PD2, Viklund's album was small in PD2 and not gonna lie , only Razormind was good , other ones were almost the same as PD3, the ones that added overtime were quite good though, like Le Castle Vania ones , oh sht...not Viklund

Strongly disagree. for me that is when the music went down hill. PD:TH and PD2 was amazing until he left. He did 28 Songs on the B side album and 46 songs on the official Payday 2 album. His music was not small by any means.... ... he was a huge part of what made payday 2 great.
