What is Aced skill? and how to get it?

So looking at Sharpshooter

"Aced
Performing a headshot while aiming down sight will refresh your Edge"

It has basic and Aced in the description but doesn't show how to unlock aced so I assume they're tied together??

The first skill in the skill tree can be aced by putting two skill points into it instead of just one. The yellow triangle will turn into a little ace of spades playing card when you do this. Just click it twice.

You click the perk, then click it again. It'll put a card in the bottom right of the perk icon

Aced adds more perks, read the description ingame.

So the description only updates in-game? The text box on the skill tree screen doesn't change, that's the logical place for it.

This game is still so half baked it's not even funny. The main menu for example, if you press Q and E it will scroll across the main buttons, but there's no prompt that those keys are even programmed to do that!

What's the push to talk key? I don't see it in settings, nor do I see how to change a key in keybinds, seems like those things would be described for you while you're on that screen.

Maybe we're talking about different things. I thought Global420 was just not seeing something. They are asking what an aced skill does (if I understand right), but it's literally being described in the skill description. All first skills of each skill tree/skill line have one paragraph explaining the base version of that skill and a second paragraph explaining the ace version. You can put a two skill points in those first skills, one to get the base version and a second to get the ace version. I know the devs dropped the ball on a lot of things, I agree about those other issues you mentioned (there is no voice chat in the game right now, you won't be finding anything in that regard) but this base <-> ace skill thing isn't super hard to understand. The others in this thread explained this well too. But maybe I'm biased because I'm coming from Payday 2 and there all skills had a base (tier 1) and ace (tier 2) version to invest points into.

calling it infamy is strange since in the previous game we'd have to level up like 4000 times to get to infamy 40 :L

after 70 hours i just learned acing just needs double click are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kidding me ive been getting the last card for acing all the time then question myself why doesnt this ♥♥♥♥ work

believe me that was my first thought aswell after realising. I thought they would do something different lol. Also never seen the ace indication from another player so i didnt suspect a thing lol
