Horrible performance?

I play on a Core I7, RTX 2070, 8GB ram, and on the lowest possible settings im getting 50 fps, please tell me im not the only one

8gb of ram is to low you need 16 gb.Im playing on an i7 10700, rtx 2060 super and 16 gb of ram and i have great performance at 1080p.

Check up videos, I had a youtube video help me turn on TAA upscaling which helped my fps by about 30-40 on a GTX 1080, was getting like 40-50 outside the basic bank. Now I get like 90+. Also you can turn on DX12 by setting the launch option -dx12, but if anyone has the statue of liberty mask apparently that crashes other peoples' games on dx12 so take that with a grain of salt.

Also yeah that 8GB of RAM might need an upgrade buddy. Almost all games nowadays suggest a minimum of 16GBs, just like this game.

8 gb is not enough but i have 32 with better system and performance is still sucks so dont worry

Try -dx12 as steam launch parameter. Gives a lot of people 30-40 FPS more

Also the stuttering when you perform certain actions goes away after a while, it's a weird caching thing

Again mentioning you can turn on TAA upscaling by editing some config files (sounds hard, really not, just follow a video like I did) and I know that's not particularly ideal, should be an option in the game. It's probably not officially supported yet or else it would be in the options but it has helped my performance massively on a much worse machine than any of the ones listed.

It is normal for the game to stutter heavily if it's your first time playing; the game compiles shaders on the fly. It's apparently an Unreal Engine quirk. But once they're compiled, you should no longer have the stuttering. So try playing for a little while and see if it gets any better.
