Quick reminder - This game is on GamePass

With so many people angry and screaming "refund", just a quick reminder you can get this game for 10 bucks. If it doesnt suit you, go have fun with other games in the catalog for a month.
I dont really understand why people buy games at full price before testing them on game pass :D

Gamepass is great for what it is. But navigating windows store and playing games on there is the worse. Window store seems disorganized and annoying to navigate compared to steam. Not only that finding game files through windows is annoying too, i forgot what game i was playing but needed to edit a file for graphic reasoning and it was a nightmare. 10 bucks to get a ton of games is great , but having to use their app is the worse. No issue trying to play a game on steam for under 2 hours and if you dont like it then refund it. Also i am one who is enjoying payday 3 . having a blast on it. But yeaaaa I rather refund a game i dont like on steam than have to deal with windows store.

except you dont use the windows store for game pass games?
it literally has a standalone app

Are you talking about the Xbox Game App or the windows store? Because playing games through the Xbox App could not be simpler. Payday 3 and trending games are highlighted and take almost all screen estate when opening the app. Starting a game from your library takes three clicks.
The windows store is a different beast but i never use it.

Thats how ive always used it. Inside the microsoft store there is a tab for gaming . Never seen no standalone app for it.

Probably because Steam offers a no-questions-asked 2-hour refund policy, and game pass as a concept is stupid? Would much rather pay once and own the game forever than have to pay $10/month for eternity - with Payday 3, if you're still playing after four months, you're losing money. Even accounting for other games on the service, you're still losing money.

The gamepass is for people who wana test out numerous games or who just don't have the funds to buy the game ATM but can spare the 10 bucks for access to a massive library of games.
If they like the game, they can buy it forever later.
If not, then they can play something else and find something else they want to keep forever.

gamepass is stupid but you don't own digital games regardless
