Its more effective to use it on a group of weak Police Enforcer.
Once you hit Level 40, you'll get your second OW Weapons which is far better at dealing with everything and the Dozer
Most of the time, having your team focus down the Dozer is the best way to deal with it.
That's because he doesn't need it.
I dunno the grenade launcher felt more like a crowd clearing / denial weapon for when you're rushing an objective like the escape at the end of a heist. The sniper rifle sounds like it's more for high threat elimination.
Perhaps the grenade launcher will benefit from the demolitions perk which helps explosives strip armour? Might be good at blowing his armour away, maybe even his visor, and then shooting him dead?
What about the armour penetration skill? I'm guessing that one also doesn't let you sometimes shoot right through his visor either?
I don't know, when I used the perk, I didn't think to check if the Dozer was dying faster. It didn't seem at fist glance, to "damage him more".
Maybe it does, i'm just not sure about it, sorry.
Bomb suits are strong sure. Especially against explosives. But these are direct hits from 40mm grenade rounds. Likely military standard, high explosive frag grenades since the new
Overkill Drop is still based off the MGL. At the very LEAST you'd be dead from organ trauma or brain damage after the...what, 6th grenade? Max? Probably the 3rd? Definitely by the 12th and 18 is mushy bloody overkill
I'm JS i think the Grenade launcher needs a buff, or more preferably the Dozer a nerf. It just shouldn't take all your ammo of the special, overpowered gun that gets helidropped into a heist as a reward for playing well to kill one Dozer. God help you if you manage to have two spawn
And dont worry as ppl improve and get better gear, they will be falling pretty fast
