This is exactly what i expected from payday 3, especially at launch... is 10 years so long ago that people don't remember how payday 2 launched... This is an all around improvement from that experience...

I agree people are looking at 2's launch with rose-tinted glasses, when I doubt a majority of people even played it back then. The developers have learned a lot since then.

Payday 2 didn't go anywhere. If you want to play Payday 2, go play Payday 2.

Most people crying seem to be people who wanted a re-skinned Payday 2 they picked up for $2 on a steam sale they could keep grinding away on for another half a decade or so - to each their own - just seems childish tbh. Mechanics are good, changes are good, stealth is amazing, game is great.

I think it's the same problem Diablo IV has... people were used to how Payday 2 worked after years of updates and DLCs, same as Diablo III with years of updates and changes, and now the devs went in a different, new direction (like the new levelling system of Payday 3 and the open world of Diablo IV) that is not yet perfectly polished (how could it compared to a game that's been worked on for 10 years??) and they seem to feel entitled to just hate on the game for petty reasons.

I did exactly that. So what's the point in me buying PD3? This was not labeled as the kickstarter that it is. This was supposed to be a sequel, not a reboot.

It's pretty much a console game compared to Payday 2 which was a pc game, the interface is simplified, no loot screen, no hideout etc etc, there's too many features missing i don't have the patience to list them all.

If you played Payday 2 then you know why people are refunding.

Yeah, to be fair builds like that was pretty unbalanced in Payday 2.
