Question about ECM Jammers

Can you trigger than more than once?

If yes it seems those are pretty good on higher difficulties where cameras can be hacked only for 5s.

I could not trigger it more than once when I was testing. Initially I didn't even know how to trigger gadgets as I kept forgetting to use them (such as the sonic mine, I assumed it was proximity and the ECM was passive) But, after using the ECM the input for the device activation button did not show the ECM symbol like it did the first time when it activated.

the mines you placed by holding down E (default) and then you would activate them by pressing E.

I think it was less useful in beta because higher difficulty didn't make runtime only 5 seconds.
In full game cameras will be even more protected so secure loop will last only 5 seconds.
