Any anti piracy measure that makes a paying customer's experience worse is unacceptable.
Find a different way or scrap it all together.

well .. thats the problem its there private company so there allowed to do what they want and you cannot force them otherwise even if your a customer...

sure they will lose some costumers or even win some and thats concequences of what there doing and its not a single thing a handfull of costumers can do sadly

if a company thinks some third party wronged them, then they should go after that third party within the boundaries of the law.

what they are doing currently with technology such as denuvo is treating everyone like they are a potential harmful third party.

what rubs people the wrong way is that they are treated like criminals, even if they bought the game with the receipt in their hand.

on top of that those that play a game through a non official source have none of the disadvantages.

and that explains the uproar. It is a simple concept to understand.

find a different way instead.

I'm actually not missing the point of the post I replied to. Plus they can do whatever they want as long as it's within the law.

If it back fires they will most likely learn from their mistakes but I would imagine that this game will sell like hotcakes regardless because most gamers won't be bothered.

As long as it has no impact on me I don't mind. I've seen games with denuvo that ran amazingly well (I'm told MGSV had it and that game ran better than any game I can think of in recent memory).

Adding denuvo adds another potential fail point though so it isn't good news as there is no upside for me, but it could potentially have a negligible downside so I'm not too concerned until I actually play the game.

thats how i think aswell :) i think everyone mostly thinks the same * aslong it doesnt affect me or it isnt anything major im cool with it * it has never effected me before so why should it effect me now ?
