Tells me the game is dead then, not worth a buy then!
How, did they tell you that you would get a key before?
I did try to contact the dev on his Steam account and nothing, just getting ignored point blank.

That "Uboat" game also looks really cool. Has anyone played that, how does it compare?
Dear Destroyer fans,
We would like to apologize for the recent lack of communications on our side and update you all on the current situation at Iron Wolf Studio.
We are working around the clock to meet deadlines concerning our next project, Sherman Commander. It is a very important project for Iron Wolf Studio, and one that will decide the future of the company. Coincidentally, we also had to say goodbye to Grzesiek (Murmur), and, given the current workload we are dealing with, there was nobody on the team who could immediately take over his duties as PR specialist.
The above situation has created a void in communications that you have noted and we sincerely apologize for not letting you know about the situation in a timely manner.
However, please rest assured that everything is on track and that we will continue to update Destroyer as soon as our most critical assets are freed up. We have just reached an important milestone in the Sherman project, and we hope that in the upcoming months we can catch up, reorganize and resume regular Destroyer updates.
Until then, however, we hope for your patience and understanding, as we continue to work towards a playable demo.
If you are interested in tanks, please make sure to check out Sherman Commander on Steam.
No the correct trans;action is we are a small but committed team who love making military games but we only have limited resources, we are however committed to doing what we can where we can … and the more support we give them and the more people we attract to the game the more likely there will be more content DLCs or a sequel.
So perhaps we shouldn’t be shooting ourselves in the foot by discouraging new customers because ultimately it is bad for the future of the game and the chances for a much expanded Pacific based sequel.
iron Wolf is a young company and Destroyer was there first game it was a big undertaking for a small team, what we have here is a solid platform for a much expanded sequel if you don’t think so then go ask Ubi for a new destroyer game and see how far that gets you.
You can't compare the games, they are totally different.
UBoat also spent an age in Early Access. It's an "older" game thats had years of development and testing by a decent sized community.
Honestly the dev of Destroyer: The UBoat Hunter gave me my 2nd best experience of Early Access (KSP 1 ofc is #1 I dont think anything ever will break that record).
UBoat Hunter is a much younger game by a new company. Especially considering this is their first outing, this game is very impressive.
Every game has its issues and imho Rabbit Ears is being a bit of a "Drama Llama".
Maybe get the game on a sale if youre still unsure but I happily bought the premium package and have not regretted it.
