He's spent decades feeding people to his pigs for a hitman and believes quitting this job is enough of a good deed to get into heaven when he dies, which he chooses is right now as his entire farm life is leaving him completely unfulfilled and horribly full of reminders of the family he messed up with all his life's choices.
Maybe this one last choice will bring him a happiness that is currently unreachable.
Also, the gun is only there to let the hitman friend know he could fight back if he wanted to...but his mind is made up.
This game threw me off so hard, I was confused about the meat in the start, I had no idea what they were really talking about, all I knew is that the old man wanted to kill himself, had no idea about the whole stuff with bodies.
What? Hahaha. The literal description for the game on the steam store:
"A pig farmer decides he no longer wants to dispose of bodies for the mob."
