What on earth does channeling mean??

It's in a bunch of spell upgrade but I can't for the life of me figure out what it means.

It means that if you can continue the spell on your next turn if you take no actions. Just keep pressing spacebar (IIRC) and the spell will repeat without spending charges. In my experience eventually channeling will stop working and you will have to cast the spell again.

so if you move or cast another spell or do any other action, the channeling will end?

Passing the turn (by clicking space or whatever key you have it bound to) will continue casting the spell. Any other action will stop it. Eventually the spell will stop channeling as you can see on the bottom left, where y our buffs/debuffs are listed, how many turns of channeling you have left. There's a spell that has an infinite channel upgrade.

Channeling spells are very powerful in levels where you can hide behind a choke point and keep casting the spell while monsters approach you. Slow but very resource efficient.
