the game doesn't start with an AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U with Radeon Graphics

I can't start the game. The client load, a short black screen and back to the desktop.
I have a Lenovo T14 with AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U with Radeon Graphics and 32 gb of ram. Everything is updated to the last version.

I've restarted the whole PC multiple time, when I tried the lastest Catalyst driver (lenovo's and AMD's stable and latest).

Same problem here, game won't finish the opening screen (yellow progress bar ends at about 5 cm from the end). Multiple reboots, multiple Steam restarts, 4 hours waiting (maybe I was too fast in my expectations). Specs are an I7-9750H laptop, NVidia RTX 2060 6Gb GDDR6 video, 16Gb RAM available, 1Tb SSD. Plenty of room... Nothing else running.

Hi all, solved by verifiying file integrity. One file did not pass verification, was downloaded etc. Reran verification, all files ok. Game started, no problem.... Verify your files please... Thx

I encounter the same problem here. firstly, I thought it have nothing to do with mu CPU, but with your post, it makes sense. I have Ryzen 5 6000. so maybe it's issue with Ryzen CPU? anyone with the solution?

Not just a Ryzen issue. I've tried verifying and it still won't start. I press 'Start' and the bottom progress bar goes almost across the screen then kicks me out back to desktop. I can see a small Unity window pop up when it happens but there is no message in it, it's just blank.

This -> If you have played in the previous Steam OpenDev, please remove the registry.xml from the Documents\Humankind\Users\ directory as well as your saves directory.

It worked!
